in praise of painting

I'm not much of an expert on this, but I've been intrigued to observe in recent years that the ancient art of painting has seen such a renaissance. One of my favourite young(ish) painters is Kamille Corry, who does amazing things with light, making her paintings look very renaissance, but also very modern.
